How do you treat your gear?

i border on protective/roadwarrior

i would only let a close friend/fellow musician that i trust borrow gear, and not for a long time. anyone who i know wont hurt my stuff can pick it up. i try to avoid damage, but they sure do add character.. i dont own an amp cover, only 1 of my guitars stays in its case, though i dont throw the case around.

I baby my gear for the most part, but when I'm onstage I thrash it around and generally act irresponsibly with it. I've never dented it or broken a string, oddly enough.

protective/radwarrior/thrasher. I protect new gear, not too much after a while though and thrash around the old stuff like it was a used porno mag.

Roadwarrior but working on being a thrasher...hahaha

I really like the look of a beat-up guitar, and the look of someone beating up their guitar, so y'know.

This rule doesn't apply to my bass tho...while it's got scars on it (once fell out of a car so there's a nice textured wound by the input jack) i take really good care of it 'cuz it was my first instrument..

depends on the gear.

I'm protective (almost anal) about my PRS and realistically protective of my tele, but I'll drag my strat along the floor.

I'll let trusted friends use my amp/pedals.
