How hot are stock Fender pickups?

Does anyone the know the d.c. resistance of the pickups that come stock on American Standard Strats? (recent models, 2007- )

I would like to know for a comparison of some Seymour pickups I'm about to buy.

You can't just look at the dc resistances of the pickups if you are trying to compare tonal differences..

They are between 5.7 and 6k on the 2006 I have

Thanks for the info on yours. Mines a 2010 model so they may not be exactly the same, but that does help. And the d.c. resistance isn't the only factor I'm considering when comparing tones; it's just the only one that I needed to ask about.

Yeah, the variances will be present as always but its fair to say the wood will change the tone more than anything else. The ssl1 or 2 will be the most direct replacement in the SD line
