I have never owned an acoustic... not a single one. Ive borrowed from time time... usually just long enough to figure out they arent for me.

I started on one. Last one I had was in the 80's. Just never took to them I guess.

I've lost track (I'll have to inventory them soon), but I'm sure I don't have enough.

I currently have about 3 dozen...
6 acoustics (including 2 steel-strings, 1 nylon-string, a 12 string I built when I was 18, a 4 string tenor guitar, and a uke),
2 basses,
25-30 electrics (including about 8 that I have built),
1 electric in the beginning build stages (body is cut, routed, and basic-shaped; neck is finished).

Around 20ish(?) with a couple acoustics and a couple basses.

I own 5 electrics and 3 acoustics. ratio: 62.5%
I have 5 electrics and 1 acoustic here (flatmate has my classical guitar, steelstring is somewhere in my mother's house, still have my Flamenco guitar here). ratio: 83.3%
I'm actually playing 2 electric guitars, one Jackson and one Charvel. Ratio: 100%

26 guitars, a Mandolin and a bass.

My goal is 31....I like the idea of being able to do a month never playing the same piece twice

23 (2 acoustic, 1 hollowbody, 2 ukes and a mandolin) 3 basses. The rest are solid body electrics in various states if incarnation.

I have in the house 8 guitar and 1 ukulele. 1 strat copy thats been Gilmourised is technically my wife's. 7 electrics and 1 acoustic (Guild m120),
I have a fully hollowbody Alden brand, es225 copy that's been gutted to be rewired that's still strung so I noodle on that acoustically at the moment.

2004 Epiphone Les paul Standard tans ble with SD59s in it
1997 Les paul junior with p90 stock replaced pots cap and mags £40 pawn shop find
2006 Fender stratocaster 50s classic series.
and a Tanglewood strat copy I've picked up for £30 that was going to be my project experiment guitar, until the Alden died.

LOVE what BTMN said!! Too many and not enuff!! I still have too many but I sold half of what I had off last year.. Currently at 10 electrics, 2 basses (1 4string and one 5) and one accoustic. I need to cut down to at most, 3.

Electrics: Basswood Strat build, Charvel Model 3 (Basswood as well,) Mahogany Strat Build, Walnut Strat Build, Warmoth 7/8 Warhead project (not completed yet, Mahogany with Flamed Redwood top)
Acoustics: Eastman E8D, Epiphone Masterbilt AJ 500RE, Guild F212XL

So 5/3 ratio of Electrics to Acoustics

I don't play out. I only get to play about 30-45 minutes a week. My wife hates the fact that I play, even though she'll never admit it. I'm working on getting a small rig that covers all the bases I need and take up as little space in our bedroom as possible.
