How to coil split a Lace Sensor dually

Hello! Im planning to get a lace sensor blue-silver-dually red set for those Jonny Greenwood and Billy Corgan tones. My question is: which coil should i use in coil split mode? Closer or farther from the bridge? Or can i get a 3 way switch for choosing either mode?

I don't think Dually units can be split.... I could be wrong.

Nope that's the whole point of them. All they do is take two of their single coils and put them on the same baseplate, more or less.

The Silver will sound more like a single coil when split to and the Blue will sound more like a P90. I'd say get a 3-way switch, or maybe even add a way to use them in parallel as well.

Dually's are just two regular singles on a common baseplate. If you can, try a 3-way on/on/on mini-toggle. That way you can choose either coil or series in the middle. I have that setup on my Yamaha Pacifica and it's very versatile.

Cool! I was asking because Billy Corgan has the normal red single coil, but like in all strats its slanted, so im not sure which coil sounds more alike. Also i’ve heard lace sensors sound better with 500k pots. Should i go for these? And i’m thinking 1 master volume, 1 tone neck and middle and 1 bridge humbucker. Thoughts on this setup?

What configuaration is this? I'm guessing either HSH or HSS?

500K pots are fine. The Lace pickups have a fairly low resonant peak when compared to most single coils and humbuckers.
