How to repair Marshall tolex tears?

As described in the title, I hava a couple of tears in my Marshall caused by my cat scratches, and I would like to know what is the best thing to do in such a situation.
I think that redoing the whole tolex would be quite expensive, so I was wondering what do you people usually do in such cases.

Many thanks to those willing to help!

You could try a leather/vinyl repair kit, like the the kind used for fixing tears in auto seats. Or what I do is superglue any loose pieces down and say f*** it

Yep. I did this and it worked well. Glue down the loose vinyl then get a leather/vinyl repair kit for your local auto parts store. I would suggest the type that come with the heating iron. I paid about $20 for the kit.

Luckily, Marshall leaves a bit of excess tolex in all the hidden areas. Snip off a piece there, cut it into a circle, square, or rectangle. Then cut out the damaged area in the same shape. Glue the patch in with a good rubber contact cement or wood glue. Never use super glue or Krazy glue, because it turns the area white.

Thanks to all of you for the good ideas. I also bumped in the video linked in the last message and I am currently doing an attempt in that way. :friday:
