How well do we know each other?

Lets suggest guitars for each other and see how close we can get to what that person would want or play. Someone suggest something they think I might play lets say John Doe suggests something. I will comment on if is is close then someone new lets say Don Doe suggests a guitar for John Doe, then a new person suggests a guitar for Don Doe and we let this daisy chain through the tread. Just let one person make a suggestion then a new poster makes a suggestion for that random user. Kinda like the word association thread we had but with guitars.
  • Try not to suggest a guitar you know they already have,
  • Pictures are a bonus.
Someone kick it off with me, what do you think I would enjoy playing?

A 7-string classical (nylon) guitar handmade by Chris Pantazelos.

edit to add a pic of the actual, factual guitar, being held by Chris Pantazelos himself:

The soundhole on that guitar is playing tricks with my eyes. It's like looking at one of those magic eye things from the 90s.

A 7 string Les Paul with a BKP in the bridge. Something asymmetrically wound.

I believe this one was actually for me. Hell yeah man, but I already have two guitars like this.

I'll try a shot at this. I'm thinking a black LP with a Floyd.

Right on. Good call. I don't have a Paul with a Floyd and I would love to try one.

But now Rex and Artie both need guitars!

I got Artie. I think a Suhr Modern Plus would scratch his itch

Nailed it. Ya'll do pay attention.

Edit: Youch! Those baby's are pricey. I don't think I'm quite ready for a $4k+ axe. :yell:

What's the difference between a mandolin and an 8 string uke as far as the listener is concerned? I'd think the biggest difference would be you need to learn a different tuning for mandolin, but not uke.
