Replace it with an Invader SH-8, or try to hunt down the Duncan designed, Detonator?

Either one would be cool, although a Detonator would be cheaper (and probably harder to find).

A bonafide Invader would be sweet in that. Sometimes they show up in the Trading Post.

And I hate to say this in a Duncan forum . . . but lots of cheap Invader clones exist out there if you want to keep the cost down.

IMHO, if you're keeping it, go Duncan Invader. If you're selling it, go cheap clone, but tell the buyer as much.

Yeah, Invaders are readily available used because many people buy them thinking 'heavier=better' but are not prepared for how thick and compressed they sound. They become a lot more usable if you also add a push/pull series/parallel option.
