I Bought A Strat

Re: I Bought A Strat

You've already got an army of guitars that do the humbucker thing better. I say stick a pair of SSL1s in the neck and middle and a SSL-5 or another overwound single in there and enjoy it for what it is. The furthest I'd take it is going into P90-ish bridge pickups but no more.

Re: I Bought A Strat

Just stick a little 59 in the bridge and use the leftover bridge pup in the neck position for extra output. This can give you a hotter and beefed Strat for the price of a single pickup. Might not work all the times, but still gives room to breathe and time to decide on which neck pup might suit you well.

Re: I Bought A Strat

You take pics of everything but I don't see a single pic of these strats.

Dafuq yo.

I think he forgot that he bought them.
Hell, I might as well have. I haven't bothered playing them since the night I bought them. Since then, I ended up with 2 more but already sold one (It was a 3 tone early US made Squier). I'll probably sell or trade these three off as well, sh!t I don't need em'. It was kind of cool getting the Rat Fink back. Since I bought it from Hoss, I sold it to a music store and it ha changed hands around 4 or 5 times through individuals over the last couple years, then came back to me on a CL trade out of the blue.
