I just bought a BOSS Phase Shifter

I've wanted a phaser pedal for ages, and today I finally got one. I know it's probably not the best... but It was the only one I could afford. I got the guy to come down $15 on the price too, so I paid $100 even.. which still seems kind of expensive though. It's pretty cool, it's got estoric lights and dials that I will never understand (to paraquote Hunter S. Thompson)

Also, I kow people mod pedals and such are there any common mods for this one? Not that I really have any gripes with it yet, but I like having my options before me.

Also I found I REALLY like the way my acoustic sounds through this guy

which model was it i payed 45 for an early japanese ph-2 and its good for the money maybe ill find a mod for it and have it customized a little if not its back to finding another vintage mxr phaser which i stupidly got rid of at the time thinking it was too subtle only to find that it fit me even better than the boss model

i like Phasers.... I too have the older Boss Japan made one.... PH2.... I have not tried out this new Boss Phase Shifter yet..... I like Phasers for some of the tunes i play.... Lenny K's Are You Gonna Go My Way is great tune to add Phaser to in the mid section!!!!

i had one but sold it. i thought it was too brittle and bright. got annoying. thats the downside of digital stompboxes. yeah its got cool features but i just didnt think it sounded good. i played a mxr phase 90 that i though sounded pretty good and the van halen phaser's script logo button sounds great.

Nice thats one of my fav quotes from the book.

Man, I got lost in that pedal... It has a seemingly infinite amount of flexibility! Pretty fun toy to have around.... I never could find a setting where it stayed... I would play with it and always like the NEXT setting better.... but I did use the tap tempo mostly... I would always try to synchronize the phase rate with the tempo of the song...
