You only have 5 electrics? And you say you like guitars? What's up with that?

Any electric guitar-lover worthy of the name should have an assortment of single & double cutaway solids, a couple semi-hollows, at least one full hollowbody (thinline and/or full depth), and a couple modern designs, like a Flying V, Super Strat, Firebird, Steinberger, etc. Any model that you especially like, you should have in a few different finishes, including solid colors & flame tops. Playing a different guitar every day keeps you fresher & more creative.

I'm afraid 5 guitars just isn't going to do it.

I have

1) Strat - 3 single coils

2) 335 - 2 humbuckers

3) '51 - 1 single, one humbucker with coil splitting

4) Jackson - one humbucker

5) Rotating 5th spot, usually a Les Paul or PRS knock, right now it's a P-bass knock!

That's pretty versatile, I got my everything (this year it's blues) guitar (1), my jazz guitar (2) my country guitar (3) my metal guitar (4) and my just-for-fun guitar (5)!

I prefer the sound of an electric to the sound of an acoustic any day. Alot of girls around here say "oh but you can feel so much more of their emotion on acoustic" and while that's a reason to continue my acoustic playing, I find that with the electric guitar you can express yourself so much more. Use effects, amps, guitars to pull yourself closer to the sound in your head where you can express really express the emotions you want to.

As they say, Muddy Waters invented electricity, why go back?

Its true all you said. There is more emotion in acoustic, but the sound of electric is real masterpiece.
