Re: I Make Music w/ These.

very cool, Brandon!

now, what did you use for your clean, chunky rhythm tone?

that's a nice jazz box, btw

folks, I'd urge you to check out Brandon's clips ... I did and bought a couple CD's ... I'll give a review once I hear from my friend who got the other CD.

Peace

Re: I Make Music w/ These.

Hey guys, Thanx. The tele is warmoth hollow tele body w/ 24 3/4 conv. neck. Gotta get the solder gun out & finish her up.
The jazz box is a 1957 Gibson es175 with original PAF. My weapon of choice for years

Thanx to Curly for urgin' me to get some info up on my site in regards to gear.
Also Curly, for the kind words & the plug.
Believe it or not, most of those edge of breakup cleans on my CD were from ch. 2 of the Mesa. My setting are very particular, and with that amp they need to be, as there are a million ways to go. If you work it, you can coax some great sounds out. I also used the Dr. Z a bit, and a Top Hat the studio had, a tiny bit. I really wanted to use my little Supro, as it has Godlike tone, but I was nervous that the speaker would fart too much, and this was an issue with the per-hour cost of the studio I recorded at. I am in the middle of setting up my own Protools HD studio which will afford me the ability to do what I want w/ little worries.

Thanx again!

Re: I Make Music w/ These.

thanks again, Brandon

haha, I probably would've guessed the Pro for the clean rhythms :)

there are probably some interesting tones to be had by mixing some of the amps together - it's sometimes a little less focused tone, but cool - especially something like using the little Supro to drive a bigger amp like the Pro, or the other ones.

good luck with the ProTools - that should give you plenty of freedom to experiment!

Re: I Make Music w/ These.

Awesome, I want just about everything you got there! Beautiful guitars! Luscious amps! Classy piano!

Re: I Make Music w/ These.

Man that looked way cool man!!
I heard Dean Parks on a Z amp....wow what a sound it had.
