So I got myself a new fiddle coming! I sold off a couple guitars over the pat week and I did still have to sprinkle a little cash on top to get it but I'm still think I did pretty darn good? The guitars I got rid of were nothing special, (a old Ibanez 12 string acoustic & a old MIM Strat without a guard) but I'm freeing up space & for now at least, the wife is mostly concerned about square footage than she is money...

The guy was originally asking $600 shipped, considering it's in perfect shape & comes with a molded Gibson hard case I personally don't think he was over-reaching too much? I was able to talk him down quite a bit so I got a pretty great deal on it at the end of the day!!! I got $440 for the two guitars I sold & had to put in less than $100 of my own!
My plan originally was to get a Faded Series L.P. or possibly a Faded V but I came across this and realized that I no longer own ANY P-90 guitars. That coupled with the fact that I've always wanted a double cut L.P. Special & I'll probably never be able to afford a vintage one because apparently I'll be having children until I'm dead? LOL!!!
Anyway, I decided this was what I wanted & the price was definitely right!!! I'm kinda stoked to examine the Zero Fret on it, I've often wondered why more modern guitars don't use them? I'm probably going to replace the current wrap around bridge with something a little more intonatable, as well as pull the mini tune off?
I don't think I've never actually played a Gibson that still had one on it & I've heard mixed reviews about them in general. Some people have said they are great and others say it's a huge hinderance to have your guitar tuning itself while you're playing???
I suppose we'll & see what happens when actually arrives before I go buying anything else for it???
