I'm also not buying it because I'm buying something cooler for about the same price but I didn't want to start that thread until all deals are done...

That's a great question to ask.
It varies from amp to amp. If you want an old school hotrod marshall tone you can have it. Matamp? Sure!
Mine is a SUNN Model T power section with an Orange OR frequency response. The world is your oyster, it seems.
Mine has a few gizmos that I'll be able to use to coax a bunch of different sounds out of it.
What are you looking for in a Hovercraft? (Assuming you're looking. )

You couldn't say "Hey, make me this really expensive boutique amp since I know you'll be much less expensive." He won't take money out of anyone else's pocket.
I asked about a custom 2x12 cab and he wanted to know what my budget was. I gave him a number and he said he could most definitely do it for the stated price or even less. He'll be in touch with me once he finds a good candidate for the can materials.

I've been able to get some great tones out of mine , by far the loudest 20 watt amp I've ever played, this thing is on par with my 6505+ combo but with great big clean headroom.... I've been able to nail some Andy Summer stuff with my delay and this amp, it can do any rock or metal you can think of.....I've gotten some uberschall esque tones running this amp with my protone deadhorse..... it's fantastic....I was going to buy this amp and a laney ironhorse studio but damn I might just save my pennies and get another dwarve at this rate, probably the marshall spec next time....

He shipped it out Monday so... Any day now. Kinda sucks cuz I am literally moving as I type and I won't be able to assemble the wall at my new spot until I do some serious reorganizing... But i'll still slap together a half stack and give it a run through when it shows up :smokin:

I've been pricing Orange lunchboxes like the Dark and Root Terrors. There is no legit reason to pay for one of those when i can get a dorfonut for the same price. With fx loop.
