Lol. It took a while but I've been working so much overtime that I figured "F it, if not now...when?" I kinda glossed over the fact that I need a cab still but I rationalize bad behavior all the time so who cares.
I will write a full report. Let me tell you, I've done about as much research into these amps as possible with what little resources are available and Jon gave me some pointers a few months ago. My expectations are pretty high and I have a funny feeling that I'm still gonna be blown away.

I gotta get the most bang for the buck when it comes to a cab.
Don't get me wrong, I will NOT skimp on the cabinet because that's one of those logical fallacies that I hate so much. I'm gonna have to find a good deal used or something.

I work with a major guitar gear retailer and would be more than happy to help you find a suitable cabinet. I'll even give you a retarded, retarded, retarded price on one if you sign a blood oath to talk to me first if or when you decide to sell that little green goblin. It would look really nice on top of that 90's Green Matamp cab I just scored...

Dude. I know they're hard to come by, but see if you can find an old sunn model-T 4x12. My old cab was a beast. It sounded so good. (Though I did replace the stock g12t75s with a pair of g12-65s and a pair of wgs retro 30s.

I'm going to order a version of Kurt Ballou's Dwarvenaut, maybe with a mod here or there, with purple tolex and the white on black faceplate.
Most dudes are using Hovercraft to nail the tones of vintage amps that I have regular access to so I want him to make mine something more modern and flexible, if that makes sense...
But he's going to have to wait to see my money until I decide what to do about two other heads that have been tantalizing me.

Good choice. I'm pretty sure that with "double depth" or whatever you get a bit of variety from vintage to more modern sounds.
