Re: i really like the cannabis rex....but

Yeah man i hear you. It is a "safe" option.
Cam, that's cool by me. 'Safe' is another way of saying you know what supports your tonal needs, that's a huge achievement IMO. I came to the CRex through months of speaker trials a couple years back, so I am grateful I know what to expect and can configure tones around it. Its just there are some great choices out there right now. Here in Austin our Craigslist has about 100+ new listings or re-listings a day. Speakers come up often for cheap.

What are you using for a dual amp setup? Do you use a fuzz in that configuration?
I don't use two amps or a fuzz, LOL. I am playing a great deal of lapsteel right now, sharing amp settings since I get my slight dirt from pedals. The gigs I have for awhile are local, small stage stuff.

Have a great day, Cheers, RG

Re: i really like the cannabis rex....but

i have a passive splitter box which plays fine with my sunface, i have a twin city too but havent tried it with the fuzz. seems like with the drag control you might be able to make it work

Re: i really like the cannabis rex....but

I just stopped in here cuz when I logged in to the forum I saw, " i really like the cannabis..."

That is all.

Re: i really like the cannabis rex....but

thanks jeremy. I get ground hum with a passive (morley) and also if i try to use my old boss chorus. This is why i'm looking at the dedicated splitters. Burkhardt Lehle told me that there is no signal loss with his "little lehle" switcher or impedance changes, and he is being very helpful. We are in correspondence now and he's asking about the configuration of the ABY and will i be using buffers and where wil the sunface go etc.
The drag control is interesting, but i'd be disappointed if i shelled out the dollars for a radial and then found it still messes with the sunface. I really need to experiment with it. If i wasnt using a fuzz, id probably just buy it, cos it did the dual amp setup perfectly (no fuzz was tried tho).
