Ibanez Paul Gilbert Airplane Flanger

After that Paul Gilbert Guitar Center Sessions thread I posted, I got turned on to the new Ibanez Airplane Flanger. Seeing that it's $150, I have to say it's one of the coolest flangers out there. I love how Paul Gilbert uses it too, getting an almost whammy effect out of it for solos.

I've got a '78 ADA Flanger on my board now, but this Ibanez looks pretty cool.

Haha love that feedback loop it does.....flangers are great machines....
Thomas made me one full of knobs....it does alot of the same things, plus you can leave it to its self..while it takes off.....
Hmm gotta get one of these...haha Pablo Gilberto is as cool as ever!

The Airplane Flanger is one of the only new pedals period that I'm interested in right now.

It seems like they got a great flanger plus a cool one trick pony sound in a well made box at a GREAT price point!

Yeah sounds great. I'm actually after a flanger at the moment and would like an Ibanez like I used to have, the yellow 4 knob one? I always like that one but I'll have to check out this new one first.

I have a link in this thread to a song on my band's upcoming album in which I use the airplane flanger during the solo. Set really subtle through the whole solo except for the takeoff segments. DOPE pedal! I love it.
