If you are looking for a Boogie...

Re: If you are looking for a Boogie...

Man... I would sure love to have that... no way I can afford it though, thanks for the gas.

lol, those things have so many knobs.

So? ;)
I love multichannel tubeamps with fully separate controls for each channel. I wish my Triamp had six EQ's :fingersx: . The Koch Supernova that's on the way has five channels and four EQ's with unlimited switching options through MIDI. If only it weren't so hellishly expensive, I'd sure want one! Long live amps with many knobs :smokin:

Re: If you are looking for a Boogie...

Man that thing doesn't have a lot of knobs...the road king has a lot of knobs!!! This is actually reasonable for a boogie multi-channel amp :)

Re: If you are looking for a Boogie...

Flexibility commands a little complexity. I love all the knobs the Mark IV has...wish it had more.

Re: If you are looking for a Boogie...

If I already didnt' have the Mark IV Combo.......:smack:

My only complaint is the shared EQ on the Clean and RH1 channels. Not really a problem since I am pretty happy with what I can get out of it. But the extra control would have been nice.
This setup kinda makes me wish I got the head instead of the combo.

I wish my Mark III had seperate controls for the clean/rh channel and the lead channel. I gotta have the treble boosted for the lead chnnel but when i go to the clean channel, the cleans are wayyyyyy too ear piercing. But swapping out pups helps fix that slight problem.

The Mark IIIs with the EQ fix that problem. One of the keys to using a Mark III is setting the amp's gain structure and tone controls pretty much in the sweetspots recommended in the manual. Then, changing from my Legacy to the Les Paul usually only requires using the PUSH/PULL knobs to get the tone set for the humbuckers.
