Edit: The reason why I chose the PRS is because it would cover both Fender and Gibson territory. I've heard it's very versatile - otherwise, I prefer the Strat
soloist, just for the feel of the neck, and ease of playability in general. Even though I love the clean tone of my jag, I find my Schecter 100x more comfortable to play, and almost always practice with it when tone doesn't really matter. Comfort is a big issue for me. And I suppose the soloist is the closest thing to the schecter on that list...
or maybe I'd take an acoustic, that way the higher action/bigger neck would force me to play better, but there are no acoustics on the list so so much for that.

Even though everyone here knows I'm an incurable strat feind...
I went for the JS1000! IMO it's Ibanez's best guitar they make. The trem is great, the body is sleek and comfy, the neck is a copy of Joe's '58 Strat and feels awesome. it's got that coil-split option... it's a great "do it all" guitar for me.
I found this hard, i eventually went with strat, seeing as ive always liked um and dont have a strat, i would probably have gone for an Ibanez if there was more than those 2 signature models, i just can't stand the thought of playing 'someone elses' guitar.
Definitely the soloist. With the right pickups you can cover all the bases, add to that ultra-playable 24 frets thanky to Neck-thru , and a nice fast neck, and for me we´ve got a winner :headbang:
