I spent most of Saturday evening rocking out with this guitar through the MicroCube. I had the place to myself.
I love the way this guitar sounds. In the right guitar the 57 Classic pickups sound just killer: instant Clapton with Cream tone.
I had them in a '00 Les Paul 59 Historic and liked them OK but I didn't love them.
Different story in this ax. I guess I just don't care for Les Pauls.
There's a blues jam tonight at the Pioneer Inn here in Nederland. I kind of hate those things usually but I'm thinking I'll take my "new" guitar and my Deluxe Reverb down there tonight and see what's shaking.
