I was looking at strats earlier

The Fesley FST1000SB
The Sunburst version
They had a blue and black as well
All three were $169 on Amazon

Then while I came back to look at it the next day
The Sunburst one was $249
The black was $179
And the blue was $169
Fesley FST1000SB

So I obsessed over the blue for a bit
Put it in my cart and then save for later

Today I went back and the blue was $249
And the SB was $169

Market pricing i guess

Anyways since I really wanted the Sunburst
That was why I took it out of my cart

The IYV Sunburst was $112 and a returned one at $92 from thw warehouse

IYV IS 200 SB

Couldnt decide

Got both Sunbursts
$169 and $92

I don't need another guitar
But the only strat I have is the red Squire Standard I got from Ascension some years back


I have high hopes for at least one of them

Ok the IYV and the Fesley arrived




All have standard 45 mm thick bodies

So the Fesley has the Wilkerson pickups
And they sound great

The IVY has their own alnico pole pickups
And they sound great as well

The Squire has whatever came in those Indonesian Squires back in 08
They sound great as well

I believe they are the stainless ones

Oh, are they shiny or are they matte?

If they're shiny, they're stock. If they're matte, the previous owner probably swapped them.

I think I have the matte ones. I got them off Amazon, but I'm doubting they're stainless steel. At least mine. They're not magnetic.

They are matte like the tuners

@Ascension may be able to offer some more information on that

Genesis is below Prestige in the lineup, so they don't.

Sharp, to various degrees, all had to be filed. I don't think they are doing the Prestige fret ends treatment on the Genesis. If they do, that's pretty rubbish
