I have never been able to get used to them. I bought a studio back around 1994. Beautiful burst finish, I sold it within 2 weeks cos of the controls. Drove me nuts.My Monaco also drove me nuts with its control setup. PRS McCarty same same.


But they are amazing guitars otherwise. COngrats Gene. Another fine addition to your collection!

Oh, don't get me wrong. You bet your ass I'd buy one and probably never sell it, if it came my way!

But I would definitely move that switch to in front of the three knobs, and plug that hole behind the bridge.

They are great guitars .Up there with R series Gibson's ,PRS and any other designer guitar.

Nice! Wish Hamer was still in business.......am holding to my 87 Chapp Custom, put so many road miles on that guitar in the late 80's....
