I just use the ones Orange County Speaker sells in bulk. GLS? Seem to be good enough.

I had good experience with Lava cable for pedalboard patch cables, the Mini ELC. They make instrument cables too.

These are just tough as nails. Cloth braiding will suffer abuse and look great. You can choose color and pattern. Your cables will look like your cables, not like the other guy's. A bit pricey but you'll be 50 before you'll need to replace them.

This. I got an 18' and a 21' a while back and they look brand new. They sound great too. You can get them way cheaper on Amazon - I think I paid (with tax and shipping) about $70 for the pair.

I recently bought one of these, and it seems very good for the low price. Its specs are supposed to be similar to expensive "boutique" cables.

Years ago I kept buying those cheap $10 cables at the local music store, and they never lasted too long. I then decided to spend a bit more, and bought several Spectraflex cables. I've been using those Spectraflex cables for 13 or 14 years now, and never had any problems at all. However, even though they are extremely reliable, when I compared them to a friend's $100 Alessandro cable they sounded dull in comparison.
