A bit late to the party, but I use a Turbo Tuner. It's a temperamental PITA to tune with, but it's great for intonation.

No matter what tuner I use, I always finish off with my ears. It has to sound right, not BE right.

I got one of the first Kong pitch black pedals that came out.. I always had no problems with it but have been considering updating it and trying out a strobe maybe.

Technically, a needle or strobe type would be better than an LED / bar light type. There’s a lot of increments in between the bars you can’t really see what’s going on. I use an old BOSS with a needle (I think it’s a TU-3?).

I don’t own a Peterson, but usually for a strobe type you just set what note you are tuning and when your instrument is at pitch the dark/light stripes stay still and are stable, not drifting right or left
