This was one of the coolest developments I'd seen in a while (I'm a loser and my frequency of updates fell to naught). My experience with the custom shop was one of the easiest things I've done and I thought it was gonna be tough. Tougher than it was to request a Pearly Gates single coil sized mid pup. I'm writing a post that goes through that experience - I"ll post the link when it's published.

For instance the price on an 8 string SH-2 for example or 7 string P-90..?

Often I find myself overwhelmed by the incredible amount of gear there is out there. I'll admit, pickups are rather low on my mental list (mostly because I haven't purchased a guitar in a long time and all of my guitars are quite happy with their respective Duncans) and sometimes I don't think too much about Seymour Duncan. But you guys never disappoint, and I love that you're not content to to rest on the company laurels. You've earned a lifetime customer.

If you're not in the EU, you can order.

If you are in the EU, we love you but you'll need to order through your international dealer: http://www.seymourduncan.com/dealers/international/

You can design it online, save it and email them though.

Thank you Custom Shop!!! My second pickup (Quarter Pound Hot Cat) is to be shipped out today. I've seen the picture of it - wow. Amazing job. I'm waiting on construction of the third pickup now and that will be a sweet one, I reckon.

Just curious if the Aged Gold, is available on the Super V pickup. I didn't see it in the drop down options. Also, is there a pic of the aged gold??? I'm very interested in this pickup!!

I see no reason why you couldn't request aged gold in the comments. Some of the options are limited because that is how they traditionally have built them but you can still make requests in those comments so long it doesn't require re-designing it.
