I need some information on ordering the SD Custom '78. I have a Gibson SG (faded cherry) and I'm not sure whether I need to order the 78 version with the standard short mounting legs or the version with the vintage long mounting legs. Which version fits my guitar?

Unfortunately the actual height of the bridge is a matter of individual guitar, but in most SGs without pickup rings you must have short lets in the neck and you must have long legs in the bridge position. Also depends on desired pickup height but the short legs will keep it very far away from the strings in pickguarded SGs.
