Hey guys I want to know what pot should I use, I have one pickup in my guitar that's the Invader and only one volume control.
My style is that of EVH, Nuno Bettencourt.
What pot and wiring etc. should I use to make it scream

If those are a couple of your heroes that you're trying to get a similar sound for the Invader probably isn't a good choice for a pickup.

500k or maybe 1M if you find the 500k too dark.

You should also make it a push/pull switch so you can have series/split or series/parallel. Also, don't be afraid to ride the volume knob. The Invader is WAAAAAY more versatile than most people realize.

Im a weirdo , I love the lead tone of the Invader , but if my style of playing was in the Ed and Nuno vein , I would try a 1meg pot for sure

There's no way you gonna hear 500 Kohm versus 1 Mohm if you only exchange the volume potentiometer and play through moderate or high gain.

If you wanted a softer, mellower sound you could go and simulate a tone poti with a resistor and capacitor inside the electronics cavity and maybe go 250 Kohm on both potentiometers. But it sees you want the opposite direction, in which case the only thing to do is make sure your guitar cable is high quality and not too long.

Otherwise, if you don't like it you'd have to exchange it with something else.

I can't understand why it's so weak? Sounds like an 1/8th of it's potential?
Maybe it's a dud(blem) pickup?

The Invader... weak? Check your wiring. Make sure you've got red and white soldered together and pushed aside, green and bare wire soldered together against the back of the volume pot for ground, and the black wire soldered on the hot terminal of the jack. And of course, make sure you crank the volume to hear it screaming! It sounds like you've wired it with a coil split or out of phase.

What's the resistance as measured through the guitar?

The Invader... weak? Check your wiring. Make sure you've got red and white soldered together .
