I'll put it to you this way. A friend of mine bought his childhood home, where his dad and a buddy had built a brick barbecue pit in the back yard. It went straight up for about two feet. Straight as an arrow. That's when they started drinking beer in the afternoon. After that, the thing looks like the leaning Tower of Pisa...lol

I tried playing while sloshed the other day. My tempo was swaying as bad as I was, and half the time I couldn't even find the freakin notes on the fretboard.

So yeah, a few beers maybe.....but not too many.

lol i used to be the same.. graphtech nut, ferraglide saddles, a change of string gauge and a year later, still to break a string :jester:

if i've been drinking, i start checking everything constantly, especially valve amps.. i'll check the speaker's connected at least 6 times before switching on :laugh2:

My amp doesn't sound any better (it doesn't drink), but I sound better after a few beers.
