Actually,
Guitarist are going to re-print it. It seems that my post started a bit of controversy between Seymour and Phil Taylor over differing recollections of how that guitar came into being. The controversy finally climaxed when the Seymour Duncan receptionist paged me while I was in the middle of meeting with, "Evan, there's a David Gilmour calling from England on Line One." :cool3:
The editors at
Guitarist became aware of my post and said it was one of the only published accounts of the early days of that guitar.
It should be coming out shortly.
And for the record, Mr. Gilmour was a total gentleman about the whole thing. He really wasn't that concerned about the origins of the guitar except that he was considering donating it to a charity auction and he didn't want to get sued by the purchaser.
