B Bent's former Aislin 6L6 w/ 15" speaker (Tweed Pro)......

Scott, I bought a Celtic Aislinn 6L6 Pro used off ebay. Serial # 015. Sorry I'm not giving you business at this time, but I have to compliment you on the amp. It's the Pro with the 15" Weber speaker, the switchable bias and switchable negative feedback. I own 20? great vintage amps, including a Victoria Super, and the Celtic is my favorite amp. I play in a cover band (it pays good) and this amp is perfect. It loves pedals. But my preference is to just play it with a little delay and nothing else. I never thought there could be an amp that would work for a cover band and still sound so **** good that I cant shut it off. I've been getting killer compliments and directing people to your website. I've even been bringing this amp to friends houses so they can try it and I have them all rethinking their amp setup. You've made my life easier and my playing better with your product. I cant say enough good things about this amp. ****, I cant even shut it off!
Anyway, thanks for making the world of tone a better place. If I buy another tweed clone, I'll look you up.
Oh, buy the way, what does Aislinn mean? I'm Irish and have lived in Ireland. Does it have anything to do with the emerald isle?

This is a life changing amp. Thanks for building it. Good luck with your business. <name deleted>

Well it's good to know that the new guy appreciates it properly.

Re: It's letters like this that make it all worthwhile...

Scott is the "Super Duper Tone Producer."

And he's OURS!:D

Re: It's letters like this that make it all worthwhile...

Well we know its a killer amp........ BUT WHAT DOES AISLINN MEAN???????????

Re: It's letters like this that make it all worthwhile...

Looks like one for your website Scott.

Very nice letter. There are those that appreciate your time and efforts out there, believe it. :)

Re: It's letters like this that make it all worthwhile...

I"m so close to getting it all rolling again, I can taste it. Gotta do a little tuneup on a friends amp, then it's back in the saddle. The friend has been muy patiento.

Re: It's letters like this that make it all worthwhile...

that's awesome scott!!! that's gotta feel great to read something like that!!!!

Re: It's letters like this that make it all worthwhile...

Excellent! You must be proud, and rightly so from what our Celtic-owning forum bros are saying.

There is a place atop my 2x12 that is forever yelling Edana.

Re: It's letters like this that make it all worthwhile...

Nice! I must say that, of all my amps, the Celtic is the one that least begs for a pedal in the front. I'll put the occasional boost or slapback echo in there, but that's it. The amp creates the right tone on its own.

Another satisfied Celtic customer. :)

Good to see Steve found a new owner. Christian called me one day from one of our local shops and saw it there on consignment.

I just didn't have the correct Tweed amp for my taste built or I would still be the owner of that amp.

One day I will own a Tweed Super.

Cool stuff Scott.

Re: It's letters like this that make it all worthwhile...

What a tool !

Well, it's nice to see SOMEONE has good taste :D

Re: It's letters like this that make it all worthwhile...

if anyone is gonna be in utica, ny tomorrow night they can hear a celtic in person at the devereaux

Re: It's letters like this that make it all worthwhile...

And if anyone's going to be in my house tonight, they can hear a Celtic in person in my studio. :)

Re: It's letters like this that make it all worthwhile...

there is probably as good a chance of someone being in your studio as in utica :)

Re: It's letters like this that make it all worthwhile...

im sure there will be people there, but probably no one who will appreciate good tone. im guest "hosting" the mohawk valley blues society's monthly jam so i have no idea who will be there, but i dont really care all that much. i get to drink for free and dont have to drive so i plan on having a good time and punishing the tubes larry let me borrow
