What... the... f*ck.

I LOVE IT!!! I'm a switch fiend. That's why I own a jag, and a schecter with a bunch of switches I added. I could hope for a better shape, but with that many switches and 10 strings, it's sure to be fun.

because they are UGLY!!!!!!!!!

I know the usa ones are quality, but they are still ugly. I think my major beef is with the bronze series and all the metalhead kids that go and buy them. lol

Oh YES! That brings back some good memories. Those old BC Rich guitars were the thing back then.........before Charvel/Jackson grabbed the spotlight.

i think this guitar is one really cool instrument but i'm glad there's no room in a stealth(like the jackson warrior but B.C. Rich had it first) for ful active electronics.No one has to like B.C rich butyou gotta adit that their custom instruments are really top-of-the-line. I personally love my custom stealth(active emgs on it) and the knobs i have on it are enough. This bich wurd get me confused i think

I bought a used USA 6 string Bich sight unseen back in the 80's because Paul Chapman played them. It was a well built instrument, but I couldn't stand all the phase switches and preamps and coil splitters and all that extra garbage. I never could figure out all that stuff, let alone use it in a live situation. It just didn't sound that great either...the guy had put some DiMarzio's in it and the sound was REALLY thin. Cool looking guitar though. I only kept it for a few weeks...nicely made, but overrated IMO...Paying for looks.

you're right about this.The look of a B.C Rich is something you pay extra for and neary all shapes are a matter of personal likes/disikes but a USA made rich just rocks the house(at least all i heard/played/own) an the korean NJ series of this year is stil pretty good.

Absolutely the guitar was a fine instrument for quality and ease of play, I actually like the shape. I didn't mean to insinuate it's looks alone that command the prices. Just didn't think the guitar was user friendly and at the time I could buy a new Les Paul for less money and get better sound and just as good playability (though arguably the BC rich was built better).

It's funny. I didn't even have to go to the site to see the instrument once I saw the talk about "10 strings". BC Rich made some of the sexiest instruments of the day. Those Biches though, and the Mockingbird were nightmares to operate. Seems like there were just too many knobs. Still, Neil Geraldo, Craig Chaquico, Joe Perry, Lita Ford (yea, I know, she played a Warlock) and a bunch of others really seemed to like them. And the Riches that come from the era prior to Jackson taking over are amazing instruments. This thing is just gorgeous.

this definetly is one sexy guitar but a Rich without a trem seems like a car without wheels to me but the finisch is great and the inlays look great.
