It's that time again. How many guitars do you own now?

Quick simple poll. I'm up to 6, only bought one this year (yesterday). I've got lots of catching up to do. But I realize now that if you have a job, you can spend more $$$ on guitar junk.

Anyways, I've got the (electrics in reverse order):
Gibson Melody Maker (the one I bought yesterday)
Gibson Les Paul Gem
Green Buddy
Fender American Designer Series Tele (1 of 250)
Lace Strat
Crappy Acoustic that I've played for 10 minutes, ever

I'll be up to 7 before long, as the Gretsch Duo Jet is on its way...

This isn't a contest as much as it is just to see what people are happy with. If it were a contest, Jolly would cream us all!

5 working electrics, 3 acoustics, 1 bass, 3 electric projects, and one stripped to wood Ibanez waiting for a camp fire. By summer's end I hope to sell one of the electrics, finish at least two projects, and go camping.

You're only 15. Reevaluate in 10 years and I guarantee your collection will have grown. All I had at that age was my Ibby starter and a Peavey Rage. (And I lusted after everything in Guitar World and Musician's Friend. lol Actually, I still do!)

Shoot, I didn't even pick up a guitar until I was 15/16, and all I had was a nylon string Yamaha. I picked up a couple over the next couple years and I carried 5 total from January 2000 until March 2004 (four years without buying a guitar!). I blame this place for all the purchases I've made since March 2004. The damage I've done in the three years since ridiculous.

Yeah you're telling me Mike! I blame this place more than anything for my amp fetish. Before I came here, amps were an afterthought. But now they're almost the focus. Almost.
