9 Functioning Electrics, 1 Bass, 2 Acoustics. Also 1 Bass that needs work, one Agile Ghost awaiting a refin and a Ibane s470 with a broken neck, also awaiting a refin when I can buy it a new neck.

My working guitars are:

Heritage H-150
Gibson Les Paul Studio Platinum
Gibson Explorer
Agile Al-2000
Fender Telecaster Standard
Fender Stratocaster Standard
Peavey Predator
Epiphone Explorer
SX Hawk P90

I still have the 9 that I listed in post #259 and I bought number 10 today. It's a Kramer Striker 100ST with a Seymour Duncan SH-5 Custom wound by Maricella Juarez.

Own:

Ashton (Forgotten model, but it's my first)
Matinez nylon string (Also forgotten model)
Shecter Omen 6 Extreme FR (I regret the Floyd Rose)
Epiphone Les Paul Jr (Modded with Shaller bridge and tuners, going to get a SD Phat Cat, might rout a neck pickup in)
Yamaha APX500II in vintage white

Building:

A Fender Jazz Bass copy with Squire pickups, going to be my first bass
A vintage styled Strat with an ashwood body and SD Antiquity Texas Hot set with a maple pick guard that has a great leafy tree pattern burned into it, possibly oil or nitro finish
A copy of a mockingbird that will have EMG pickups (Because I got them cheap)

I'm also restoring a guitar my friend found on the side of the road, brand unknown but it has a plywood body and a one piece maple neck, the fretboard was banged up and I still have to replace it, because of the plywood I'm probably going to end up getting some "El-Cheapo" electronics and use it to experiment with and practice fretting

Also for those with more than 20 guitars...Where do you store them? I can tell I'm probably going to end up the same one day

Long post is long

I voted 4-6 on this years ago, can't remember what the exact number would have been. I'm up to 8 now though, 7 of which are Fenders. I'm such a bad man what it comes to buying Fenders.

Re: It's that time again. How many guitars do you own now?

2 Schecters, 2 Lap Steels, and a cheap Fender acoustic bass.

Re: It's that time again. How many guitars do you own now?

Sure, I'll play.

I have 42 as of current count, not including the ones that are out on permanent loan. They all get played in regular rotation, except when they are on the injured reserve list. I do not have a single #1, I have over 20 "favorites" that could each be my go-to guitar depending on the situation.

Breakdown by manufacturer: (4) Fender, (1) Epiphone, (1) Gibson, (3) Yamaha, (2) Michael Kelly, (1) Mitchell, (1) J3, (1) SmartLight, (1) kit, and (27) glorious Ibanez guitars. My tastes run toward the less expensive end of the spectrum, but I have very few that I do not consider to be high quality instruments.

I am not a rock star, but I try to live like one whenever possible.

I wish I'd held on to some of mine, namely the cherry sunburst LP Traditional I had for about a month and a half in 2011.

Re: It's that time again. How many guitars do you own now?

this thread is useless without pictures, but then we would have morons quoting lot of pictures just to add something irrelevant or plain stupid.

Re: It's that time again. How many guitars do you own now?

I've recently sold off a couple to buy some stuff that will get more use. I'd like to sell off a couple a few more. I sold one guitar to Steve Miller's bus driver. He was a cool guy.

I think you've just defined the internet.

Re: It's that time again. How many guitars do you own now?

Still holding in the 10+ category. I'd really like an Explorer and a vintage-style stratty Strat.

Re: It's that time again. How many guitars do you own now?

Sold the black SG and added the V98 and R8 below. I now have too many Les Pauls.
