Whichever you play most will make the other sad. The only way to do this fairly is to get an Explorer and play that mostly, making either of the others glad just that you still have them.
It's a Jackson Dinky DK2 1H RGF (Red Ghost Flames). Alder body, maple neck and fretboard, JT580 trem, reverse headstock that matches the body finish. Came stock with a black TB-4, swapped for a reverse zebra one for my aesthethic reasons...
From what I searched online, it was a limited edition, hence the special finish, from around 2006. Got it second hand from the original buyer here in Portugal, Europe.
Honestly, I think length makes a bigger difference than how thick it is. A girthier neck might feel bigger to hold in your hand, but a longer one has a much stiffer feel.
My wife is the opposite though, she actually prefers the thicker ones, and don't even get her started on a burst finish.
Play whichever one results in more tail. I would say that based on rock star numbers, the LP will generate more tail. I don't think that Angus gets as much tail as Slash.
Yep, and for another SG example, Im sure Krieger never got the tail Morrison did... Of course Im sure Mr Mojorisin pulled more than the other 3 combined...
In all seriousness, I just rotate thru mine, try to give each one some lovin.. I wish I could settle on one favorite, so I can really learn the feel and nuances of that particular guitar.. But, I love em all.. I need to at least change tunings on them or something.. I do use my Charvel with Dtuna when I go drop D
