I haven't heard anything of Fear Factory, be it with Dino Casarez or COW, but this guitar looks AMAZING, for a very decent price. For the price of a DKMG, you get ebony board, reverse black headstock, all black body, EMG81 with its volume control and string through bridge. It looks absolutely amazing. I am seriously considering getting one of those and unsignify it (repace the truss rod cover)
That is the 7 string version:

I think it's got some very attractive bang for the buck. I wish I could play one but well... damn... it looks friggin' awesome. It's a bolt on but what the hell... Cool as ****.

Re: Jackson Christian Olde Wobbler signature.

I'd buy one in an instant if it had a neck bucker ;). I'd kill for a 7 string.

Re: Jackson Christian Olde Wobbler signature.

Ahhhh hehe for me the charm of it is to have the simplest, blackest, heaviest, moda****ingestcoolest guitar. All mojo.
So hot :32:

What I don't get though is, why the volume pot RIGHT THERE? Out of everywhere else on the whole friggin' body, they chose the one exact position in which EVERY player is going to bump in it... It seems like every guitar has that now :(

Re: Jackson Christian Olde Wobbler signature.

i have no use for a 7 string, but the 6 string version is very tempting. nice and simple, but great looking. i checked music123, its only $650! the one with the terrible looking camo graphic is close to $1000.

i also find this extremely f*ckin awesome, but its a little more than $1000

Re: Jackson Christian Olde Wobbler signature.

I'd go for the Bonds but it's a lot more expensive unfortunately. Very hot true.

Re: Jackson Christian Olde Wobbler signature.

yeah i know. if they made it like $700-800, id absolutely go for it. but most places i look it comes up $1200

Re: Jackson Christian Olde Wobbler signature.

The funny thing is, I did some photoshop jobs of some of the Vs on jackson's site and put bevel colors on (tinted) and they look exactly like that picture, I was just like LOL when I saw that...hahaha

Re: Jackson Christian Olde Wobbler signature.

The only thing I don't like about the Bonds one is the pentagram inlays. pretty damn cheesy, if you asked me. I would've much rather seen the MJ leaves on there, as wood many other J/C guys.

As for the volume place, that's where production Dinky knobs always are. :-(

Re: Jackson Christian Olde Wobbler signature.

Yeah, the knob is annoying...if I were going to have one pickup I'd forget the volume knob, and a tone knob is pointless on a metal guitar. If you want to adjust the volume, don't use some POS pot, get a pedal or something.

no pots = good

bah.....i dig the pentagram inlays. cheesy, but i like em. a lot better than i would like pot leaf inlays....id never buy a guitar with them.

Depends on the bevel color for me really...I could live with the red and pentagrams, but I'd rather have the green with pot leaves.

IMO, no inlays would've looked better on that guitar.

It´s a signature model, so it´s gonna be EXACTLY where Christian Olde Wolbers (Not Wobbler, no idea where you got that, you as a dutchman should be more sensitive to dutch names :D:D:D..) wants it

I personally have no problems with it there you get used to it, and it´s much easier for volume swells and such ;)

And, I´ve said it before, I´ll say it again (Although nobody ever seems to read it judging by the quotes we constantly see, so I´m really starting to not care anymore anyway, why should I type this 5x a week if nobody gives a ****....): ANYONE that looks at large online retailers for J/C prices is shafting themselves... Music 123, MF, ZZounds, AMS...all horrendously overpriced

WHAT!!!!

HOW much is the wolbers sig?

all of a sudden i feel i need a 7 string ...

and i foresee one of those after i'm done with the 'road warrior' dinky

as for the volume knob.. at first i was really annoyed at the position of it on my dinky, but now i got used to it so it's no biggie

What Dinky? You have a Fusion :D:D

The wolbers sig is well under 1k, I refuse to post the same dealer links in 2 successive posts (especially for a JCF member who has the dealer page at his disposal :D:D) . But I´ll add www.vwallguitars.com

yeah i know i could probably get it cheaper from one of those sites, but most likely still not cheap enough (the bond RR im talking about here) for me to buy it. i doubt theyre gonna charge $700 for a $1200 guitar

edit- i just looked on all of those sites, and not only did they all have a tiny selection of jacksons (or none at all, in the case of OSG), but where do you see cheaper prices?

OSG just recently got their dealership back, and not everyone updates their websites daily.... ;)

CALL or EMAIL matt (or Matt :D:D) for a price, There´s a reason Minimum Advertised Price is called minimum ADVERTISED price... And whatever you do, DON`T post the actual price on any forums or anything, because they can lose their dealership for that ;)

Re: Jackson Christian Olde Wobbler signature.

ohh ok. now i gets it, the whole discretion discount thing. ill have to look into this haha
