jazz neck with a2 mag?

anyone tried the jazz neck with an a2 mag? how does it sound and how will it compare with a 59n with an a2?

an A2 Jazz is an Alnico 2 Pro (at least that's what Ive heard)

Not quite...other than the Custom series, no Duncan pickups are identical to any other Duncan pickups when swapping a magnet. I have an A3 Jazz, it sounds about halfway between a Pearly Gates and an Alnico 2 Pro...brighter and less bassy than the Alnico 2 Pro, but warmer and less trebly than the Pearly Gates.
