I could make a case for a full peday array....preamp, compressor, tuner, wah, chorus, phasor, delay...even distortion. You could go for a full blown distortion pedal for DiMeola fusion, or something like a Soul Food for pushed tones. The others are pretty much no-brainers, just season to taste...but you NEVER want to add TOO much salt, pepper, sage, cumin, thyme, or cilantro to the stew. Just because you have it, doesn't mean you have to overuse it.

Actually I could have a decent pedalboard for a jazz setup. A nice overdrive, a reverb, a delay, a compressor, and a chorus pedal. All set pretty subtly, but still.

Actually I never owned a Double Back, so I am not sure. Maybe someone who owns both would chime in.
