The body turned out quiet nice I think. More reflective than I expected for a semi gloss.
Now just to get a neck pickup and the neck. I decided upon a rosewood fretboard and a maple neck

Yes, i painted it myself with duplicolor color match wimbledon white. Then, used minwax semi gloss lacquer for the clear

Are you going with a minihum for the neck, or do you want to take it way off the rails?

as soon as I can get this project completed I will let you know. From all the research I have done and the samples I could find on you tube it sounds pretty amazing. thanks for the compliment on my work. This is something I really love doing.
