haha.....i still havent made the switch. actually, the stock 500t started sounding much better after i put 11s on. but i still think im gonna eventually go with the DD. last time i was home, i had people listen to me playing all my guitars and see how the tones compare (without seeing which one i was playing). and, as i already thought myself, the ex (with the DD) was always the favorite, and they said the explorer (stock) sounded the thickest, but it would be perfect if it had the clarity of the DD, which the 500t lacks.
