Jimi's Marshall is on Reverb

Some Blues Real Estate ****** is going to buy this.....

Then hes going to plug up all his Strymons and Chase Bliss pedals using George L ultra low capacitance cables.from his super fancy pickups in his boutique relic'd guitar and then be like......

Why don't I sound like Jimi????

Keep your eye out for a new member on the SDUGF - "JimiPlayer69" - 'Is this Hendrix Marshall fake?'

I don't think I want the 6L6 power stage in this amp, but love the vintage look, do you think the seller will discount to offset my expense for having to perform the 6550 tube mod -so I can get a more modern metal tone?

For a modern metal tone you're better off adding a gain stage and some midrange shaping rather than worrying about the output tubes, I mean Rectos use 6L6s, how much more metal can it get?

After adding gain you're fer sure going to want an fx loop for you digital delays and reverbs, probably better to just do it SS, it'll be more transparent.

We should buy this as a group and mod it into a real amp!

(yes, I know it is sold, suspended, or whatever, but let's keep the joke going)

NegativeEase What are you smoking, Superleads are EL34s, thought that one might have been modded or something, but nope, EL34s.

So, yes, definitely going to want to get it modded for 6L6s for those metal toanz!

Definitely going to need a triple rectifier -also probably need impulse response speaker emulation DI out too Devastone .....

At least the dropped the shipping to $1000, and 3 people have it in their carts! "Predicted to sell soon"

Joe B's gonna buy it, I bet! It is the one thing he needs to complete the collection.

Is it a mistake just to list this -instead of auction? I mean, if it's perpetual -doesn't it lose the hype and urgency of the opportunity to own this?

I feel like they should be creating some external pressure to act now on this amp.
