Juat bought a new ESP LTD MH417 7 String

I went out to see about getting a new 7 string because i was asked to play with a band that uses them.. I played at least 5 or more brands and then i played this one so i bought it for 629.00 out the door. I have noticed that while playing the other guitar players Agile 7 string that his feels really light and the neck is reall thin. Thin to the point that he has a slight bow in it and he has a few dead frets already.......

Anyone plat the LTD what did you think???

i never played that one, but it looks pretty t!tz, ive owned 2 mh-307's loved em they were glossy finish, but then sold em. the one you have is a flat finish from what i recall?

I've had Viper 407 and MH 417. Both are awesome axes. IMO upper range LTDs have one of the best price-to-quality ratios out there. Now I have EC1000 and absolutely love it.

Plays really nice and has a pretty good neck on it.

As for the EMG setup i am going to have Wade from Motor City Pickupd custom wind me a set. I am going to go passive i think but want to get more of his input on it. He is a true master at his craft and he has wound me several sets in the past and i can say every time he just knocks it out of the park.
