MXR's SMD stuff is on my shit list. Maybe just my own bad luck, but I'm not impressed with it's longevity. Had a 1 year old brand new, barely used MXR Superbadass Fuzz fail on me. MXR directed me to their authorized repair center in Canada . . . which charges 75$ an hour minimum and will not guarantee than they can repair it. Payment up front is required for the number of hours I want them to try the repair. Oh, and I also need to include 20$ return shipping and cover shipping out of my own pocket.
