sounded full and all. Points to you TJ for stickin to the amp after the critical thrashing it got in another thread, pretty sure you were on that thread, too....Would you say it's strength is in its DR capabilities, with an additional bonus feature of having a speaker? ....if you know what I'm trying to tactfully say, while at the same time give you yer props? :nervous:

No need to be tactful, I want to know if it sounds like garbage or not.

First off, there are no cleans if you DI record, it gets clean'ish but not clean.

Second, the speaker isn't great but I haven't opened it up so no idea on higher volumes if it gets worse or better.

Third, strengths...1. Built in power soak, 2. DI, 3. Enough gain for most rock applications.

I am really a newb when it comes to direct recording and recording in general so either I'm lucky and making it sound decent or making it sound worse. (Probably worse cause Satch makes this thing scream in his demo video

where does the power soak attenuate the signal, right before the speaker?

so, do you like it? was it worth the price tag?
