Thanks a lot. I am a huge fan of the Babicz. This is my 4th Babicz, 2 Teles and 2 Strats. I wrote a review on the Strat bridge you can check out.

I have been going back and forth between Tortoise, Black and White but I am thinking the chrome will pop with a black 3 layer pickguard. You comment may have pushed me over the edge.

BWB would truly look awesome!

I was going through the spare parts in my workshop trying to put together a punch list of what I need from Stew Mac and came across this black pickguard. I am going HH but wanted to get a feel for the vibe of the guitar with black. I am without a doubt digging it.

Finally popped on the tuners. They look sharp. I love the contrast of the chrome keys with the black posts.

In one of the previous posts your guard looked solid black...and my heart dropped. Sooo glad to see that it was just that particular photo.

I haven't tried the Babicz yet, but judging from your review and others I have read, it is definitely in the future for one of my next builds.

Thanks a lot GuitarDoc. It means a lot coming from a guy that A.) knows his crap and B.) Has been around here a while and has seen thousands of builds. Babicz is coming out with a OEM version of their trems so you will be seeing them in more guitars. The big upside is modders can go into a music store and try before they buy.

I want to know what that Fralin high output humbucker sounds like ? Thinking on putting a set in my Futura build , I guess the 13.5k bridge and 12.5k neck , would like to hear what your impression is before I go ahead and buy them? Might actually have the money this week which is crazy.

Yeah it has been 3 months but I am finally done. I had a lot going on during the past few months. So the finished project is close but better than I envisioned in the OP.

It is a MIM Vintage Sunburst Fender Strat with a lefty headstock.
Sperzel Locking tuners
LSR nut
Babicz Full Contact Bridge.
Fralin High Output in the bridge
Fralin Pure PAF in the neck w/ a partial tap kit

Electronics
Vol (B), Vol (N) w/ pull phase, master tone
Super switch wired B - B tapped - B/N - N tapped - N

I am getting 5 distinct tone right off the bat with the super switch. All incredibly useable. Adding the phase and rolling the tone open up a world of possibilities.

Yep I had a lot of trouble finding chrome 6 inline lefties I will swap out the keys at some point. Right now I am just happy having the guitar in my hands

Very nice results, my friend. That configuration description sounds very flexible and useful. I bet that is a joy to play and you can get a lot out of it. Those are the guitars that become the gigging workhorses and daily players.
