Just why I love my strat....

I can sit all day and do little else than this....wandering around without any direction or anything...just loving that clean voice of singlecoils.
And it is the most over used sound ever, compressor, chorus, delay....but I did not use the 2 and 4
Boss CS-2 comp, Boss CE-3 chorus(modded), Hardwire delay on the tape setting, Vox Classic Rock amp plug on a cleanish setting....the mic in the web cam sucks beyond anything....but well....

Very nice! I always enjoy watching your videos. The one with the AC-30 Amplug is my favorite. Reminds me of the kind of tones I used to get with my old Strats, through a Peavey Classic 50 2x12.

I can't wait until I can get another Strat. I've been thinking about grabbing a Bullet, or SX, just to scratch the itch until I can afford the right one.

I could see how sitting around for a few hrs could be quite compelling with that sound. Love it w/o the backing track, the chords are beautiful. Very nice..

The mic is sensitive though...it is not even loud, and it is close to getting overloaded heh...
Have the sensivity turned down all the way....but it is still behaving like a mofo...

Nothing wrong with a bit of noodling on the guitar, especially on a sunday! My strat is undergoing surgery, so I'll have to make do with my B.C. Rich NJ Beast. Hate the guitar, but it'll do. Good vid BTW.

Great sounds.
Used a lot but not overused, IMO. Violins etc have been used for hundreds of years, maybe even for thousand(s) years. That doesn't mean they're overused.
