Laz did an amazing job on the neck ... and I think that the chrome/birdseye/natural headstock looks so much better than the original (black/straight maple/painted headstock).

I was able to jam for a bit with the Kami going into my Engl E540 preamp, with the SS power amp stage (1.5W) going into a 1x12 ... not as smooth sounding as it is through a head and 4x12, and the bottom end isn't nearly as large, but it's definitely good enough for tracking some clips ...

What happened to the original neck?

I have all of the original hardware in my possession. This project started as a way for me to get a different tone on this guitar than my other Demon-equipped Lynch axe; it ended up becoming a total re-build because I started getting into the idea of preserving the feel of the original Lynch guitars of the 80's, which were a mixture of production bodies with custom necks and hardware.

That's a nice axe! I generally don't like colourful guitars but your Kami (with the camo ) somehow looks... COOL! I'm also glad you could solve that 'wiring' problem.
