I want a picture of the strat KWS used on Idol. That thing looked sweet.

I can't find the pic. I guess I am internet search challenged.

Better yet, I want that strat, what do you think he would want for it?

The Am. Idol producers kept showing close-ups of everybody'd face. Didn't they know America really wanted a close-up of the guitar headstock and pickups?

All I noticed was the reverse Headstock.

I'm seeing him tomorrow night for free, he is playing a Rib America festival here. I'll let you know if he plays it, and see if I can get a good look.

Kenny's new album is a rock n roll album in case you've not heard it. Good stuff. I liked it a lot.

I got it due to rave reviews...I didn't care for very much of it at all...

Well I just got back from the show. He used the afformentioned strat during Voodoo Chile, and only for that song (which he absolutely ripped on). He used strats through most of the show, but pulled out a Les Paul Custom for a song off his new album and on his cover of "Oh Well" by Fleetwood Mac. He was using a Marshall Plexi half stack, as well as a different head and cab, which I couldn't make out because the keyboard was blocking my view.

It was a great show, it seemed like he played almost every song off Ledbetter Heights which I haven't heard in years, yet somehow I still remember the words.

I got it due to rave reviews...I didn't care for very much of it at all...

Same here....

I know I listen to KWS for a very simple reason....I'm tired of listening to the SRV CD's I already have.

But past that...once he walks from playing the Blues any appeal he had to me as a musician is almost completely lost.

I don't want to hear The Wallflowers play the Blues and I don't want to hear KWS play AOR.

I think he's overrated and has been for the last 10 years. But ya know, it's hard to condemn a successful artist. It obvioulsy works for Kenny.
