I had one of their 12 pole buckers in the neck of tele for a while and it was a fine sounding pickup. Clear, warm, articulate....excellent pickup for blues and great bang for the buck imo. I'd use on again in a heart beat. YMMV.

Re: kent armstrong?!?!?!

I have a lot of experience with Kent Armstrongs on Archtops. They are a good PUP for Jazz. If you have an acoustic Archtop and are planning on putting a floating pup on the pickguard they are a real good choice. For a solid body guitar such as a LP................ go with Duncans.

Have to agree with that...but i would suggest that you try and hear some kent armstrong's as they may give you the sound you are looking for.
