Interesting, rod magnet polepiece pickups.
I'd buy one if it wasn't for that stupid inlay at the 12th fret. Totally kills the minimalist vibe of the guitar.
Oh yeah. It also kills tone and playability. Good call.

Man I have to say, saw one of these at GC today... I was so dissapointed. I know its a lot of guitar for the price but there were flaws everywhere. The pickups were alright and the neck was comfortable, but the paint job was terrible and the fretwork left a lot to be desired. Even with the PLEK there was buzzing all over the place. I'm a Paul' lover but this one didn't sing to me. However. If you want a Gibson with midrange Epiphone quality this is the guitar for you. Very lightweight as well.
Thats what I was afraid of. Honestly, IMO (for what thats worth) some of the new low line Gibson models coming out now actually make Epis look very good. Epi is making some great guitars these days.
