Duly noted. The Iceman neck and body were just meant to be together; best fit ever. It's a toss up between the Warmoth Strat and the USACG Iceman for my favorite guitar. Although the Iceman has a KILLER JB/Custom Custom A2 Hybrid Trembucker in the Bridge!!!

What's funny is that I was using that pickup with a big ceramic in it.

I wish I knew how it sounded with the Ceramic...the Alnico II Version just sounds awesome with the Mahogany Body and Maple Neck.

Just picked up an OFR from Trading Post...once that arrives...I will only need a neck humbucker and mounting rings and it'll be ready for assembly.

Parts have been acquired; got everything to complete her...waiting on the Floyd Screw In Posts and SD Slash Neck HB to arrive than I'll drop it off for assembly & set up in a week or so...

That's gonna be sweet when it's done. I don't know if you have experience with the Slash neck but it is a killer neck pickup. Almost has a single-coil-ish type of vibe depending on the gain structure. Very cool pickup.

There's a few projects going on in this forum right now.

Thanks! Slash in the Neck/Eddie in the Bridge and a Heavy Maple Body w/Rosewood Neck...I've got high hopes for TONE. I haven't actually played a SD Slash Signature yet so I'm looking forward to hearing it when it's all together.

You'll love it. If it's too bright, use a 250K pot for the tone control with a .022uf cap or even .033uf. I had it wired in to my frankenstrat with no control and it was fine; alder body, maple/maple neck. It should be OK though.

I'm anxiously waiting for my Tele parts to get here so I can slap together an Esquire (started a thread about it already).
