Re: Kramer Guitars???!!!

I have one and it's a great guitar. I've used it for rehearsals, gigs, home use....holds up fantastic. Ditch the stock pickups, put some Duncans or Dimarzios in there and it's a great sounding and playing guitar. Never regretted buying mine.

Re: Kramer Guitars???!!!

the old US kramers (80s ?) were great, no experience with the new ones. I guess you can't compare them.

Re: Kramer Guitars???!!!

mine is nice n solid. Has epi pots and switches that i swapped out. Now its a fine working axe and i love it. The pups sound meaty and i bit on the bassy side. i think i want a bit more highs and bite so one day ill get some SDs:)

Re: Kramer Guitars???!!!

I've owned a few 80's kramer models, and all those have been great. I can't really speak for the new ones....some people love 'em and some people hate 'em. I think its odd though how gibson decided to exchange the names on the cheap models and the mid-priced models (striker and focus).

Never pick up an 80's Kramer striker, cause you'll be gettin a guitar made out of plywood. The new ones shouldn't be too bad though...

Re: Kramer Guitars???!!!

i'd like to hear more about those kramer guitars, they look like fairly good deals

Re: Kramer Guitars???!!!

I like the looks of the Kramer Les Paul copies at Musicyo myself. On another note, I got a dual rail Kramer off Ebay and use it in my #1 guitar in the neck position, and I love it. Not sure if I'd like the quad rail in the bridge position though. I think for around $300 any of those middle-of-the-road Kramers would be nice. Probably bad on the resale, but who cares.

Those Steinbergers at musicyo look cool to me as well.
